International Strategy for Higher Education Institutions
Dr Vicky Lewis is an independent consultant specialising in international strategy development and implementation planning for Higher Education Institutions and other organisations with an educational emphasis.
Understanding organisational values and drivers for internationalisation is essential in order to develop practical – and sustainable – solutions. I recognise that there are diverse perspectives on what international success looks like. I listen and learn from my interactions with stakeholders to ensure my recommendations will resonate and stick. My reports are incisive, logical and compelling. And easy to read.
As an experienced senior manager, I know that the most valuable consultancy assignments are those that present practical solutions. Small changes can make a big difference. I pay attention to these. I also highlight honestly the big changes that will be required in order to achieve your organisation’s international potential.
Engagement with your people plays a key part in what I do. I find that tapping into their concerns and observations helps me to pinpoint both the big and the small changes that are required. That engagement also makes them part of the solution. I like to leave teams and individuals feeling inspired, equipped and energised to implement and build on my recommendations.
